For Christmas, Beauty Emporium (which houses Spa Esprit, Strip and Browhaus), launches a host of Christmas promotions and treats. I visited them last week, when I had an appointment with Strip for its limited edition Gingerbread Wax for underarm waxing, and also to do colour tweaking at Browhaus since I had my hair lightened a few months back at Ecorganics. And that’s part of my pre-Christmas grooming, so I can have less worry when I dress up for the many social gatherings I’ve sent my RSVP for.
The Gingerbread Wax smells really good – a little sweet, a little spicy. Not to worry though, the spice doesn’t make your skin irritated in any way, it’s really just in the smell. If you’re planning to celebrate Christmas with your girlies, you should consider booking a session here – the smell of the limited edition wax will definitely set you in a festive mood. It’s available at all Strip outlets from 19 December to 31 December.
If you’re shopping for Christmas presents, consider getting a customised body product set from Spa Esprit ($100, U.P. $145), which consists of:
– 250ml shower gel
– 250ml body scrub
– 250 body moisturizer
All put together in a gift box. The nicest part about this gift is that you can customise the scent of the products based on essential oils that you chose. Here’s mine:
Other gifts that I think are great:
Malin+Goetz Body Care Set $54.40 (U.P $64.00)
– choice 2 body wash
– comes in gift box
This is available at Strip too.
Browhaus Eye Brightening Set $100.00 (U.P $143.00)
– Malin+Goetz Rice Bran Eye Moisturizer
– 1 Min Miracle Wrinkle Filler
– Anti Wrinkle Eye Patch (set of 5 pcs)
From Strip –
Strip Anti-Ingrown Set $80.00 (U.P $101)
– Malin+Goetz Peppermint Body Scrub
– Malin+Goetz Ingrown Hair Cream
Strip Smoothening Set $100.00 (U.P $148.00)
– Peace+ (box of 10 ampoules)
– Ice Cream
You can shop for the above-mentioned gifts at Strip and Browhaus, but to look at all of them and do more efficient shopping, you should probably visit Beauty Emporium, which is located at Level 2, House @ Dempsey. Book a manicure or waxing appointment too, and shop while you wait. That’ll what I’d do since I’m perpetually time-starved.
