My mum is quite a cleanliness freak. So she always carries a bottle of antibacterial hand gel in her bag, and often passes it over to me when we need to use our hands to, for instance, eat. The only issue about it is that most of the antibacterial hand gel out there is slightly drying to the skin (alcoholic content) and doesn’t smell so great (think antiseptic!)
When I heard that Crabtree & Evelyn launches an Antibacterial Moisturising Hand Gel, I was pretty excited. Besides keeping your hands clean, it also hydrates the hand with hydrolised jojoba esters and a sugar derived vegetable protein to neutralise odours.
What’s very important is that it is fragrant! It comes in five different fragrances: La Source Antibacterial Hand Gel, which smells clean and crisp; Citron Honey & Coriander Antibacterial Hand Gel, which smells fresh and invigorating; Gardeners Antibacterial Hand Gel for those like the floral scent of an English herb garden; Lavender Antibacterial Hand Gel, which I expect to be a hit with everyone; and Rosewater Antibacterial Hand Gel, which smells of rose, violet, florals and musk.
Retails at $10 for 50ml and $38 for 250ml.
